Brussels Sprouts with Walnuts and Cranberries
Walnuts and sweet cranberries are the perfect addition to this easy Brussels sprouts dish. Be sure to halve or quarter any large sprouts.

Ingredients

olive oil

Brussels sprouts
washed, trimmed, and halved
1
teaspoon
salt
¼
teaspoon
ground black pepper
¼
cup
vegetable broth
optional
½
cup
roughly chopped walnuts
¼
cup
dried cranberries
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. When oil shimmers, add Brussels sprouts, salt, and pepper and stir to coat.
Cook sprouts for approximately 10 minutes, stirring frequently. If desired, stir in vegetable broth to deglaze the pan.
Add walnuts and cranberries and cook for another 5 minutes, until sprouts are caramelized. Serve immediately.
