8ouncesBrussels sprouts
Salt and pepperto taste
1pearthinly sliced
1/2cupshredded mozzarellaparmesan, or other cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450°F. If you have a pizza stone, make sure it is in the oven while preheating — you want it nice and hot!
In a frying pan, cook bacon until just crisp. Remove to a paper towel to drain.
Trim ends off Brussels sprouts, remove any wilted leaves, then slice thinly from top to bottom. Place in a bowl, then drizzle with about 2 teaspoons olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Stir to coat.
Roll out pizza dough onto pan or pizza peel for transferring to stone. Spread on remaining olive oil and garlic, leaving a bare border around the edge of the pizza.
Scatter on sprouts and bacon, then arrange pear slices. Top with shredded cheese.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, until crust is crispy and cheese has melted. Let cool for 5 minutes before cutting.
