How to Pickle Jalapeños

Tangy and spicy, pickled jalapeños are a wonderful addition to tacos, nachos, chili, hot dogs, burgers, or even salads. They're super easy to make at home!

03 Cider Vinegar

04 Pickling Salt

Slice jalapeños into rounds. Seeds can be removed for less spice.

Pack into a canning jar or bowl.

In a saucepan combine water, vinegar, and pickling salt and heat to a low boil.

Pour hot brine over sliced jalapeños.

Remove air bubbles with a chopstick or dowel and add more jalapeños or brine to fill jar.

Cover and let cool to room temperature. Store in refrigerator.
