Thawed puff pastry sheet
Softened cream cheese
Plum jam
Powdered sugar
Spices: cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves
Unroll puff pastry and cut into squares. Place one in each cup of a jumbo muffin pan.
Mix together cream cheese and sugar and place 1-2 tablespoons onto each pastry square.
Mix together jam and spices to taste. Add a dollop of the spiced jam on top of the cream cheese.
Bake until the pastry is golden brown and let cool in the pan slightly to firm up before removing.
You can also bake them flat on a cookie sheet for a square danish. Use your favorite jam or jelly for the filling!
